Modern Slavery, an Everyday Occurrence

Tackling slavery

In 2016 there were 40 million people worldwide registered in Modern Slavery with 24 million in forced labour. Now in 2019, the interest in Modern Slavery and ways to manage it is getting higher and higher worldwide.

Everybody is coming face to face with the reality of the situation, so we get lots of questions about how to find information on Modern Slavery issues and agencies to contact.

I have collated a list of websites for you to browse and some very useful video links from various different organisations.

If you feel more links should be added to the list, please let us know and we will revise the post.

If you are aware of any Modern Slavery or suspect activity like this, in an emergency always call 999. To report non-urgent crime, call your local police on 101. Crimes can also be reported anonymously to Crimestoppersonline or by calling 0800 555 111.
